Description: The Cherry Valley volkswalk is a walk through a small rural Inland
Empire horse property community. It includes walking past the Riverside County Cherry
Valley Fire Station 22; through a small county park and some dirt/gravel walking trails
around the newly developed Groundwater Recharge Center. The center
also contains a
Lo Water-Use Demonstration Garden. After the walk, enjoy a picnic
lunch at the center's picnic area.
Rating: Both walks are rated 1.
Special Programs: American Gardens, and Firehouses
Special Instructions: Leashed pets are allowed. Strollers and wheelchairs can be used with medium difficulty.
Starting Point: 10501 Beaumont Ave, Cherry Valley, CA 92223 (Shell Gasoline Station located on the corner of Beamont Ave and Cherry Valley Blvd).
Driving Directions: Eastbound: From Los Angeles/San Bernardino. Take I-10 to
CHERRY VALLEY Exit and make a left turn on Cherry Valley Blvd. Go 3.4 miles to Beaumont Ave.
The Shell gas station will be on the left hand corner of Cherry Valley Blvd and Beaumont Ave.
Westbound: From Palm Springs. Take I-10 to BEAUMONT AVE Exit. Go right on Beaumont Ave
for 2.9 miles to Cherry Valley Blvd. Shell station will be on the Northwest corner of Beaumont Ave
and Cherry Valley Blvd.
