Description:Wander through the picturesque "Village" district of Big Bear
Lake, a four-seasons mountain community situated above 6700 ft elevation. The 10K and 5K
routes include the
main "tourist" business and resort district, as well as surrounding residential
neighborhoods, two lakeside piers, and a lakeside Veterans Memorial park. The 10K route also
visits a lakeside recreation park, and a ski resort area. There is a wide variation in weather
during the year-- check the local weather before traveling to Big Bear, and dress appropriately.

Special Instructions:Leashed pets are allowed. Rating for Strollers are hard and wheelchairs should not be used.
Starting Point:40409 Big Bear Blvd (SR-18), Big Bear Lake, CA 92315. (Cozy Hollow Lodge)
Driving Directions:From San Bernardino: east on SR-210 to Highland; north on SR-330 to Running Springs; east on SR-18 to Big Bear Lake. Start point is on the right side of the road just past the Alpine Slide.
Awards & Fees: IVV Credit Only ($3.00) or can walk free
Additional Comments:Limited parking at Start Point. RV's and other over-size vehicles will need to find street parking in the area and walk back to the starting point. Please allow staff to wait on customers first. Check highway road conditions first with CalTrans at 800-427-7623 or www.dot.ca.gov. For overnight accommodations, our club recommends our gracious Start Point host, Cozy Hollow Lodge; reservations are encouraged, and can be made at 909-866-9694.
