Distance: 10K and 5K
Description: Event is on side walks and bike trail and travels through parts of old March Air Force Base (MAFB), passing the old commissary, base theater and Base Exhange (BX). The BX is still open to military personnel and their families. The walk continues past General Meyer's memorial, out the old base main gate on Moreno Valley's new bike path, through John F. Kennedy Veterans Memorial Park, and back to MAFB through the old East Gate, passing the new commissary to the finish. Wheelchairs can be used with some minor difficulties. Stroller are ok.
Rating: This walk is rated 1.
Special Instructions: Leashed pets are allowed. Rating for Strollers is easy and wheelchairs is medium. Water and public restrooms are available.

Driving Directions:East or West on Hwy 60, exit at Heacock St. and go South to Meyer St. Turn Right (West) on Meyer St. to 6th St. Turn Left (South) on 6th St. to the park. North or South on I-215, exit at Cactus Ave. and go East to Heacock St. Turn Right (South) on Heacock St. to Meyer St. Turn Right (West) on Meyer St. to 6th St. Turn Left (South) on 6th St. to the Park. .
